General tasks

- Carries out, at the request of the housekeeper, various errands (linen delivery, distribution of swimming pool linen, ironing board, breakdown kit, etc.)
- Supplies the offices with linen, reception products and cleaning products
- Follows and respects the various cleaning and work schedules

Main responsibilities

Customer relations

- Demonstrates speed, politeness and courtesy with each room delivery
- Informs the customer if necessary or directs him/her to the right person
- Gives a warm and personal welcome to the customer, calls the customer by his/her last name when he/she knows it

Business / production technology

- Takes note of the specific instructions and guidelines given by the floor manager or general manager (depending on the hotel's organisation) and applies them
- Assists the chambermaids in cleaning and tidying up the "common" areas (outside areas, inside areas, corridors, toilets) and the rooms.
- Ensures that the client's linen is delivered on time
- Organises his/her work by priority and demonstrates speed of execution
- Takes care of the equipment provided (trolleys, bins, hoover, etc.)
- Tidy up storage areas on a daily basis
- Participates in the thorough cleaning

Health / Safety / Environment

- Ensures that the passage through the corridors is not obstructed (trolley, shampoo machine, hoover, etc.)
- Follows the department's hygiene and safety instructions


Housekeeper or Floorkeeper

Profile required

Education / Work experience

- CAP in the hotel and restaurant industry
- First professional experience desired
- Accessible to beginners with on-site training by a housekeeper
- Languages : French and English
