Le Corbusier/Cité Radieuse

La Cité radieuse in Marseille is a residence built between 1947 and 1952 by the architect Le Corbusier. Discover this masterpiece of 20th century architecture, classified as a Historic Monument and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in the form of a bar on stilts, it attempts to concretize a new form of city, a "vertical village" called "Housing Unit".
